Walking home at night –

Bushy tailed fox follows me ~

Glad I’m not a mouse.

Another dead fox –

Really had hopes for this one ~

Such delicate paws.

The year’s first fireflies –
Waiting to see in the dark~
A fox cub, staring.

Full Moon, shining down –
Fox, on patrol by the stream ~
Seeking Jade Rabbit.

Fox in the garden –
Quite welcome, as it happens ~
Come, sit by the fire.

Fox follows me home –
Won’t take no for an answer ~
Someone must feed her…
