Working from home day –

Small Man is humming, playing ~

I don’t mind the noise.

Our turret rotates –
Languidly, in evensong ~
Big gun, balls of steel.

Cooler evenings –
Home, wash off the day ~ bonus –
The steam now goes out.

Very peaceful night –
The bugs are busy chatting ~
A warm glow within.

Surf for a blanket –
Sleep well, little one, at least ~
No more harm for you.
