A sudden surprise –
The appearance of my hands ~
Aged and beaten.

Family visit –
So nice, chattering voices ~
The crickets, chirping.

The dinosaur’s nose –
Offended, like me today ~
Stinky ginkgo fruit.

Leaves Autumn behind –
He travels to the New World ~
Fall in a new life.

Divine Mystery –
How the worker packed the tent ~
In such a small bag.

She enjoys each sound –
Luxuriates in place names ~
Metro train driver.
