First time in a life –
Will be seeing two seasons ~
Within the same day.

Easter Sunday mass –
A man alone, made welcome ~
He is born again.

Blooms outside my door –
Even bursting bark bedecked ~
A Capital Spring.

Tenth floor bumble bee –
Why here, where no blooms grow? Ah ~
She fights another!

Most auspiciously –
Cherry blossom festival ~
The day I arrive.

Ancient coal swamp eyes –
If I had a flume for thee ~
We would swim as one.

Morning sea scent breeze –
Freshens motorway margins ~
Horsetails popping up.
